DESTINATION CHICAGO: ELYSIAN HOTEL
The simplicity of the lobby is beautiful (also I thought the swarovski crystal is amazing),
the bar is classic and also very simple,
I was recently in Chicago last weekend and while we were walking to one of our favorite bakery's "More", we came across this stunning hotel. I love how simple the color pallet is, they focused on using only three main colors (white, black, and brown). <3

HOMECOMING REBELLION
Yes...my homecoming dress is indeed made out of lady gaga paper. I guess you could say I rebelled at my school dance. It was tricky to sit and but I was able to dance the night away!

Times Square... Flashy lights, cheesy sports bars, and annoying tourists, but despite all the chaos there is one place in particular that is hip, Blue Fin at the W hotel. Sit down and enjoy their tasty oysters and clams, or just enjoy some espresso and desert. Yum :)

VINTAGE TENNIS
Next week I will be attending the US open in New York! So excited! I was immediately inspired and thought of this concept. I love the sleek black and white look plus a little bit of bling and gold (not in a cheesy way). My sister was also a huge inspiration. Every tennis player has a signature look, for example my sister always wears a pearl necklace when she plays a match. This gave me the idea of going vintage. Everybody has there different styles, when I started playing tennis I used to wear rock and roll tee-shirts (AC/DC, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd...ect). Fashion mistake? It's either brilliant and or hideous! Hopefully when I watch the open I will see unique and chic fashion.

EAST COAST PREP
White pants, flowy blouses and sailboat loafers is the new prep! After watching Harper's Island, a murder mystery television series, I was inspired by the beautiful grey sky and cape cod island features. I felt that the classic east coast style should come back. Not only is it a comfortable look, it looks great on all shapes and sizes. I love oversized hats and sunglasses because it looks fantastic, but it also provides protection from the sun! Fashion works in mysterious ways just like the murder mysterious on Harper's Island.

DOTA IN MINNESOTA?
Teens and young adults across America listen to the typical trash on the radio, hip-hop/rap and sleezy pop, but in Europe, techno and trance is what's hot! Basshunter (aka Jonas Altberg) is one of the most popular dance DJs in Europe, along with DJ Tiesto, David Guetta and many more. Basshunter composes in swedish and english. Two of his hits in swedish are called "Dota" and "Boten Anna", which he also has in english, "All I ever wanted" and "Now you're gone". A while back in May, I went to one of his concerts in Milwaukee, WI. I drove six hours with my sister, father, and close friend. Once I got passed the hours of my sister's screeching and my father's irratation, realized it was worth the drive. The music was blasting, the people were crazy and the singer was hot...yes, extremely attractive! That concert was one of the most unforgettable experiences ever. I hope that one day Basshunter will come and do a concert in Minneapolis. Dota in Minnesota? Maybe one day!
